This high-protein, gluten-free, mineral & fibre-rich flour is a well known part of cuisine of Indian subcontinent, Caribbean and countries largely inhabited by people of Indian origin. Its most common use is in making besan curry. It is also used in making pakora, bread-pakora, dhokla, gutta, namkeen, bhujia, laddoo, son papadi, burfi etc. It is also used as thickening agent in gravies, soups and curries. Due to its deep cleansing properties, besan is also used in traditional beauty treatments. The texture of besan manufactured at BD Feeds varies as per customer and items to be made.
